Financial Matters

Parents’ fees are calculated as a monthly fee. Company holidays, holidays taken by the children, bank holidays, absence due to illness and other general absences by the child do not result in a partial or total refund of the fee, as the monthly fee already takes such absences into account. The number of days per month on which the child is to be cared for are agreed to in a written contract and will be billed in advance. This bill is to be paid by the tenth day of the month in which the childcare services are provided.

Upon signing the contract, the registration fee of CHF 250.00 will be invoiced and is due immediately. A refund is not possible even in the event of premature cancellation of the contract.

Parents will not be billed for the adjustment time for the child, but instead will only be charged after the official start of childcare.

  • Monthly Fee

    The monthly fee is calculated as follows:
    (Number of days per week) x (daily fee) x (4 weeks) = monthly fee
    A daycare place (100%) at Lil’ Mouse House costs:
    CHF 2'700.00 (status 01.2025)

  • Sibling Discount

    For non-subsidized childcare places, a sibling discount is granted.

    - 5% discount for each additional sibling on the condition that all children have an 80% care
    - 10% discount for each additional sibling on the condition that all children have a 100% care

  • Infant Supplement

    For children up to the age of 18 months, an additional infant supplement of CHF 300.00 is charged for a 100% care place; the calculation is made proportionally.

    In the 18th month of life, the infant supplement is charged for the full month of care (e.g. if the child is born on the 15th of the month, the infant supplement is CHF 300.00 in the 18th month).

    No reduction (neither subsidy nor sibling discount) is granted on the infant supplement.

  • Full and Part-day Variations

    The provision of childcare for an entire day will be billed at the full daily rate. Additionally, it is possible for the child to be cared for just the first half of the day until the end of lunch (Pick up between 12.00-12.30) at half of the daily rate, or until after break / nap time (Pick up between 14.00-14.30) for ¾ of the daily rate. The number of days of care is to be agreed to in advance.

  • Flexible Additional Days and Day Swapping

    At our childcare centre, it is possible to swap a day on which childcare is planned for a day on which it is not planned within 5 days, or to flexibly add additional days as needed by paying the daily fee. These options are contingent upon the availability of places on the days in question.

  • Subsidies

    The parental fees can be subsidized by the partner company under certain conditions. Requirements for claiming a contribution reduction and further information can be found on the internal website (G-Site). The contribution reduction is calculated individually on the basis of the income of both parents. Parents must submit the necessary documents upon request. In the event of late submission, the full amount will be invoiced and owed. A refund or credit is only possible in justified cases. The take best care GmbH commits itself to handling this data confidentially in accordance with data protection regulations.

  • Childcare Vouchers

    Childcare vouchers are financial contributions from the municipality of residence to parents and legal guardians who have their child cared for in a recognized childcare facility and are eligible.
    The amount of the childcare vouchers depends on the financial circumstances of the parents and legal guardians.
    Our KiTa Lil' Mouse House is recognized in the following municipalities:

    City of Zug
    Municipality of Steinhausen
    Municipality of Cham
    City of Lucerne
    Canton Schwyz

    We are happy to support you in the registration process for obtaining childcare vouchers. The process is different for each municipality, you can find out more on the website.
    If your municipality is not on the list, please contact us and we will request recognition from the municipality.

  • Cancellation Policy

    Every childcare place can be cancelled at the end of the month by the parents or Lil’ Mouse House by providing written notice two months in advance. If less than two months’ advance notice is provided, the full monthly fee will be charged for the two months notice period.

    Parents whose children have been promised a place at Lil’ Mouse House and who have signed a contract to this effect but cancel this contract fewer than two months in advance will be billed for the remainder of the two months notice period.
