Operating Concept

All of the rooms at the centre, as well as outdoor spaces, are available for individual and specific childcare needs.
We recommend that all children attend Lil’ Mouse House at least two full days per week so that they can become integrated into their childcare groups and feel comfortable at the centre.

To ease adjustment to the childcare centre for new children, we recommend a six-phase programme which gives all involved enough time to get to know each other and to establish a level of trust.

The children receive healthy meals suited for children prepared by the staff restaurant of the partner company. These meals include breakfast, Z’nüni (a morning snack), lunch and Z’vieri (an afternoon snack). Attention is given to variation and fresh foods. Allergies and special requirements will be taken into consideration as much as possible, or the parents may bring special foods for the children. Under no circumstances will the children be forced to eat, but rather they will be motivated to eat, in particular through following the examples set by the childcare staff. The children should enjoy eating and should develop a common mealtime culture.

The childcare centre is not equipped to care for sick children. If a child should become ill during its stay at Lil’ Mouse House, the parents will be contacted immediately and requested to pickup their child and care for it at home. It is important to us that the parents are informed as even if a child merely feels unwell, so that the parents may decide how to proceed.

In the event of an accident (emergency), the centre management will place the child in medical treatment immediately. Whenever possible, the parents will be informed of this in advance, so that the best solution for the child may be found. The childcare centre has a trusted physician at its disposal.

By using the parent APP, take best care GmbH offers parents an insight from home and thus an optimal and fast cooperation with the childcare staff. Parents can book additional days online, quickly and easily deregister their child from the daycare in case of illness, enter vacation days or view and reflect on pictures from the daycare relaxed at home with the child.

The caregivers also use this software to be more efficient in administrative activities, for example, in the creation of lists, in the daily attendance check of the children or also to record the daily information of the parents as well as feedback of the daily routine. The data is handled confidentially according to data protection guidelines.
